About the role

Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. Work setting: University or college. Community college. Rural area. Technical institute. Vocational or technical high school. College or university educational institution/establishment. Tasks: Supervise students in work session. Train students in practical shop work session. Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses. Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students' progress. Advise students on program curricula and career decisions. May serve on faculty committees concerned with matters such as budgets, curriculum revision, staffing and course and diploma requirements.. Conduct course and program evaluation or review. Deliver lectures and presentations. Teach workshops to trades students. Teach students through lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations and laboratory, shop and field studies.
