About the Job

Type: Full time/Permanent

Wage: $28.00 per hour + $0.50 shift differential

Shifts: Wednesday 12:30pm - 6:30pm, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6:30am - 6:30pm

Summary

The Yard Spotter Commercial Driving License is primarily responsible for safety handling and maneuvering tractor trailers on the yard and within a local area. The position requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service. Incumbent must be at least 21 years of age.

Essential Functions

Primarily responsible for safely handling and maneuvering tractor trailers on the yard and within a local area on public roads

Ensuring compliance with applicable Federal and/or State laws, regulations and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards

Maintaining accurate records and logs

Maintaining accurate move and yard inventory records

Additional Responsibilities

Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to read and/or listen and understand information and ideas communicated. Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures, Required

Qualifications

H.S. Diploma/GED, Preferred

Must have a minimum of 9 months verifiable experience in commercial driving, Required

Must not have more than one moving violation or accidents (anything other than parking) in the last 12 months, Required

& Vaid Driver's License (AZ/Class1), in Canada, Required

Compensation Information
