IT Procurement & Strategic Sourcing
📍 Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid – 3 Days/Week Onsite) 🕒 Contract: Short-Term Contract (Potential Extension) 🌐 Language: Bilingual English & French We're seeking a Technology Sourcing Specialist to support strategic procurement initiatives focused on Software, Applications, Cloud Services, and IT Solutions. This role is ideal for professionals with strong sourcing, vendor negotiation, and contract management experience in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support strategic sourcing initiatives for technology categories including software, SaaS, cloud, and IT services. Conduct market research, supplier analysis, and commercial evaluations to identify cost-saving and value creation opportunities. Develop sourcing strategies and participate in competitive sourcing events (RFP/RFQ/RFI). Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, licensing, and supplier agreements. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and deliver sourcing solutions. Manage supplier relationships, contract implementation, renewals, and performance reviews. Ensure procurement activities comply with internal governance, risk, and compliance standards. Prepare sourcing reports, spend analysis, and executive presentations.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Technology Sourcing, Strategic Procurement, or Category Management. Hands-on experience negotiating Software, Application, SaaS, Cloud, or IT Services contracts. Strong knowledge of sourcing methodologies, supplier negotiations, and contract management. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience working with cross-functional teams in a large enterprise environment. Ability to manage multiple sourcing initiatives simultaneously. Bilingual proficiency in English & French is required.
Preferred Skills
Experience with procurement platforms such as SAP, Ariba, Coupa, or similar. Knowledge of software licensing models, cloud procurement, and vendor management. Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities. Professional procurement certifications (CPSM, CIPS, PMP, or equivalent) are an asset.
