What will you do?
As Order Manager, in Smart Infrastructure - Electrification & Automation (EA) you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end order fulfillment process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products or services to customers, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and Siemens' operational standards. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including sales, logistics, and project management to coordinate timely and accurate fulfillment. You will monitor order progress, resolve issues, and drive process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support Project Managers in execution of the projects.
- Manage/execute orders independently.
- Participate in project handovers from application engineer to Order Manager.
- Participate in clarification meetings with engineering team and customers.
- Compile project documentation for submission to customers.
- Expedite and follow-up with vendors.
- Support in tracking and coordinating warranty.
- Coordinate shipment of equipment from factories outside Canada.
- Work with SAP and other tools for order management.
- Manage Purchase Order (PO) creation, customer creation, billing etc. in SAP.
- Accurately match vendor invoicing to projects.
- Manage product orders. Create sales orders and place POs to the factory.
- Maintain logs for the orders and follow-up with the factory for shipment.
- Ensure timely invoicing to the customer.
Location: This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence 2-3 days a week on our Oakville, ON office.
What will you need to succeed?

Education: Engineering degree preferably in Electrical engineering.

Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar position; Experience working in a complex, matrix environment.

Skills And Competencies:

- Ability to take ownership of the job and ensure completion from beginning to end.
- Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with stakeholders, strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communications skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and take initiative; self-motivated.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent problem-solver with a demonstrated ability to research solutions.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to change and pivot as needed.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications; Acrobat PDF; SAP
