Position Overview
The Formsetter at Professional Excavators & Construction Inc. is responsible for setting up and assembling concrete forms according to project specifications to ensure proper shaping and support during concrete placement. This role requires precision, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively with a team to meet project deadlines while maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install wooden or metal forms for concrete structures based on blueprints and specifications.
- Measure, cut, and shape form materials to ensure accurate construction alignment.
- Secure forms in place with fastening devices such as nails, screws, and braces.
- Collaborate with concrete finishers and other team members to ensure proper concrete placement.
- Inspect forms for alignment and stability before concrete is poured.
- Maintain and repair formwork equipment and materials.
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies during operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a formsetter or in a similar construction role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Proficient with hand and power tools used in formsetting.
- Good attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
- Reliable and punctual with strong teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license is an asset.
