About the role
Who you are
- 10+ years of B2B enterprise software sales experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role managing teams focused on new business or growth
- Track record of building and scaling sales teams, ideally in a high-growth or transformation environment
- Demonstrated success closing large, strategic enterprise deals, including multi-million-dollar contracts
- Strong background in value-based, consultative selling (MEDDICC/MEDDPICC strongly preferred)
- Excellent cross-functional leadership skills and ability to partner with Marketing, Product, and Alliances
- Experience in integration, API management, MFT, or digital infrastructure is a strong plus
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on, builder mentality
What the job involves
- Axway is looking for a high-impact, strategic, and entrepreneurial Vice President of Sales to build and lead our New Business organization across North America. This is a newly created role, offering a unique opportunity to define the strategy, shape the team, and lead the execution that will drive Axway’s next phase of growth
- You will lead a team of ~10 professionals, including BDRs, SDRs, Account Executives, and Alliance Managers, with a focus on new logo acquisition and expansion into new markets. If you are passionate about building high-performing teams, driving net-new revenue, and collaborating across functions to win, this is your opportunity to make a real impact
- Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for new customer acquisitions in North America
- Build and lead a cross-functional new business team of approximately 10 people, including BDRs, SDRs, AEs, and Alliance Managers
- Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and BDR leadership to drive integrated campaigns, territory planning, and pipeline acceleration initiatives
- Personally engage with C-level prospects in strategic deals and guide the team through complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles (3–9 months)
- Foster a performance-driven culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and execution
- Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility, and drive achievement of ambitious bookings targets
