Tasks

As the Aviation Stores Specialist, you will perform the following duties:

Process storage and pulling of said material Proactively work to resolve discrepancies as they occur Support, cooperate, and communicate with all colleagues, including shop and purchasing staff Physical handling of material Operate equipment as directed Input data in EDP system in keeping with procedures Coordinate with delivery service providers as required Work with and support customer requirements Work according to, and support the Quality Management System Process documentation according to instruction and procedures Recognize significance of required airworthiness certificates for aircraft material and properly applying associated regulatory requirements Drive company vehicles for delivery/pickups on and around the airport as directed All other duties as assigned or required

Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need a combination of the following qualifications:

High school diploma/GED desirable Bachelor’s degree desirable Professional experience desirable Fluency in English language required Knowledge in aviation logistics required MS Office skills, especially MS Excel for reporting purposes Excellent detail oriented Strong safety and security Excellent ability to work under pressure Excellent commitment Excellent reliability Excellent responsibility Excellent teamwork Must possess a valid driver’s license Shift work / overtime Manage constant time pressure Manage high stress levels Lift up to 70 lbs Outdoor weather conditions Noise pollution Must possess a legal work permit in Canada CV/Resume required Company will not provide relocation assistance
