Position
The Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Lethbridge invites applications for sessional (part-time) instructors to teach 6 and/or 12 week clinical courses in the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters**.**
Qualifications
The successful candidates must be regulated members, in good standing, with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). The candidates will also have at least five years of nursing practice in acute medical, and surgical settings. Applicants must have a Baccalaureate degree in nursing. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication, mentorship, and organizational skills, and maintain excellent working relationships with all nursing faculty, students, members of the University community and our service delivery partners. Candidates must demonstrate leadership in professional nursing practice in interdisciplinary settings. A thorough and current knowledge of nursing skills, procedures, and equipment related to nursing practice settings is required. Previous teaching experience is preferred.
Academic Setting
The CASN accredited four-year BN and 23-month BN After-Degree programs are offered in collaboration with Lethbridge College within the Nursing Education in Southwestern Alberta (NESA) Programs. Students practice in rural and urban settings including institutional and community locations. Remuneration
