What You'll Be Doing

As a Prep Team Member, you'll work in a temperature-controlled environment (0–4°C), where attention to detail and efficiency are key. Your tasks will include:

  • Printing and applying accurate labels for a variety of food products and packaging, ensuring all information such as ingredients, allergens, expiry dates, and barcodes meet company and regulatory standards.
  • Operating and maintaining industrial labeling and printing machines to ensure smooth, efficient, and consistent performance during production.
  • Verifying label accuracy and print quality, performing routine checks to minimize errors and mislabeling.
  • Troubleshooting basic machine issues and performing minor maintenance or adjustments as needed to maintain productivity.
  • Working efficiently within a timed production schedule to meet daily labeling targets.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment by strictly adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
  • This position involves frequent bending and the ability to lift up to 44 lbs (20 kg) as part of the essential duties
  • The role includes end-of-shift cleanup and the proper staging of finished products

  • Reviewed and verified printed labels for accuracy in product information, barcodes, and expiration dates, adhering to food safety and compliance standards.
  • Collaborated with production and quality assurance teams to meet daily labeling targets while maintaining high standards of precision and efficiency.
  • You are articulate. You have strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Even better, you practice empathy in all spheres.
  • You understand the importance of details. You don’t sweat the small stuff and thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, yet you have a keen ability to recognize nuance.
  • You are team-oriented. You understand the importance of a positive attitude, you are always seeking personal and professional growth and you are always there to lend a hand.

Our customers can choose from 10 delicious meals per week, delivered to their door in sustainable packaging, for as low as $10.99 per serving.

All ingredients come pre-cut and pre-portioned, reducing many steps of the cooking process – making dinner time easier and quicker. Customers can also choose from a menu of Add-ons including quick ready-to-eat meals, salads, healthy snacks, juices and pantry staples.

We offer meal kit options for all diets and preferences - 50% of our weekly menu is vegetarian or vegan and customers can select gluten-aware and carb-conscious meals.
