About Us With over 20 years at the forefront of B2B digital media, Xtalks has become a go-to destination for thousands of life science professionals worldwide. Our engaged community relies on us for expert-led webinars, trusted insights, and meaningful content that drives decisions. As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a full-time Communications Editor & Webinar Host to join our collaborative marketing and production team.

The Role This position is ideal for a detail-oriented science communicator with a sharp editorial eye and a confident on-air presence. You’ll help ensure our content is polished, accurate, aligned with our brand and our brand partner’s objectives — while also playing a key role in the live delivery of our industry-leading webinars.

Key Responsibilities Content Editing & Review (approx. 80%) Proofread and edit all externally facing content (webpages, press releases, emails, social media posts) Ensure messaging is clear, grammatically accurate, and engaging for our professional audience Verify use of appropriate links, images, and formatting Guide internal teams (marketing, production) on content positioning and categorization Support accurate tagging and organization of content in our on-demand library and promotions Content Creation (approx. 10%) Write original editorial content for our website or clients, focused on the pharmaceutical/biotech, medical device, healthcare, and broader life sciences industries Tasks may include: Writing feature articles, blogs, sponsored content and news stories Pitching content ideas based on industry trends Conducting interviews and research Submitting content to the Editor-in-Chief Webinar Moderation (approx. 10%) Serve as a confident, engaging moderator during live webinars Facilitate Q&A sessions and presenter transitions Full training will be provided

Ideal Candidate Profile We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven role with the versatility to switch between content creation and live webinar moderation. Qualifications Master’s in a life sciences discipline (required) Proven experience in copy editing, proofreading, and fact-checking scientific content Experience in the pharmaceutical or B2B media industry (preferred) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines A tech-savvy individual comfortable using digital tools On-air confidence and the ability to work with clients and presenters in a polished, professional manner A practical understanding of on-page SEO is an asset
