Job Title: On call Brand Ambassador (Event-Based) Location: Toronto, ON
Job Type: Contract / On-Call
Compensation: Starting at $22/hr
Job Summary We are hiring energetic, outgoing, and dependable Backup Brand Ambassadors for a series of high-profile events in Toronto. In this role, you'll be part of an on-call team, ready to step in and support brand activations across four major festivals. You must be available for all listed event dates and ready to represent the brand with professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm.
Event Dates & Locations
- Waterfront Festival – June 28–29 📍 Sugar Beach, 11 Dockside Drive 🕒 Sat: 9:30 AM–7:30 PM | Sun: 9:30 AM–6:30 PM
- Vegandale Toronto – September 6 📍 1695 Queen Street East, Toronto, ON M4L 1G7 🕒 10:30 AM–8:30 PM
- Picklefest – September 20–21 📍 128A Sterling Rd, Toronto, ON M6R 2B7 🕒 Sat: 10:30 AM–6:30 PM | Sun: 11:30 AM–5:30 PM
- Toronto Garlic Festival – September 28 📍 Spadina Road (between Davenport Rd & Dupont St) 🕒 9:30 AM–5:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Be on-call to step in and support activations when needed.
- Actively engage attendees, share product knowledge, and create positive brand interactions.
- Distribute samples or branded materials in a fun and professional manner.
- Assist with booth setup, breakdown, and event logistics.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and energetic booth presence.
- Provide feedback to team leads post-event, when applicable.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in promotional work, customer service, or events preferred.
- Friendly, proactive, and confident speaking with the public.
- Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to ~30 lbs if needed.
- Must have reliable availability for all listed event dates.
- Ability to travel to and from event locations across Toronto.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently or with a team.
