We’re searching for a People & Performance Operations Specialist. Are you searching for new possibilities? This role is based out of our Head Office in Surrey, B.C., with a hybrid work model requiring a minimum of two in-office days per week.
Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $62,000 to $72,000 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

As a People & Performance Program Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the entire hire-to-retire lifecycle while ensuring a seamless and positive experience for employees and leaders.

Why we’ll love You:
- Post-secondary education in Business, Human Resources, or a related field; Finance and/or Insurance experience preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of HR experience
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
- Strong time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated accountability in managing tasks and responsibilities, ensuring high standards of performance
- Initiative-driven with a growth mindset, turning challenges into learning opportunities
- Exceptional relationship-building and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in technology as a driver for business results, particularly HRIS systems such as Dayforce
- Excellence in project management and execution, with strong attention to detail and professional communication skills
Once here, you'll:
- Manage the end-to-end hiring lifecycle, including drafting offer letters, scheduling interviews, creating employee records in Dayforce, and maintaining job postings with consistent formatting and vendor management
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and P&P Leadership to draft compliant employment agreements and recommend process improvements, including automation in Dayforce
- Oversee HR operations in Dayforce, such as processing changes, terminations, audits, generating reports, and tracking bonuses and temporary employees.
- Manage the HR inbox, ensuring prompt responses or delegation, and maintain the People & Performance SharePoint and Teams pages
- Produce HR reports to support strategic decision-making and enhance organizational effectiveness
- Support M&A integrations with onboarding, document preparation, and training coordination while assisting with updates to employment agreements, policies, and handbooks
- Administer the Westland Scholarship Program, maintaining effective communication with participants
- Ensure timely completion of Statistics Canada surveys and other reporting requirements
