About the role
Position Summary... The Optician, Dual Licensed reports to the Vision Centre Manager and provides the Store with expertise on the ordering and dispensing of quality eyewear while maximizing sales and profit, maintaining exemplary customer service by adhering to the 3 Basic Beliefs and values of Wal-Mart.
What You'll Do... Develop the optical business through executing programs as well as promoting the Walmart brand.
Build collaborative relationships with Optometrists and other healthcare providers in Walmart and within the community.
Expertly guides customers in selecting frames and lenses that are best suited for their lifestyle, wardrobe, RX, and price needs.
Proactively identifies root causes, anticipates needs, exceeds customer expectations, and delivers effective solutions.
Performs exceptional customer service by providing accurate measurements, expertly adjusting and fitting eyewear, and performing all tasks with meticulous attention to detail.
Ensure all finished eyewear meets the highest standards of accuracy and quality, delivering exceptional products to customers.
Must be in good standing with the respective College of Opticians.
The pay range for this position is $23.40 - $30.72/hr. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
