HUB continues to grow and is seeking a Personal Insurance Account Assistant to join our Personal Lines team based in Oakville, Ontario. This is an ideal role for a strong team player who is detailed oriented, enjoys working with people and has a commitment to deliver results on required deadlines. What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain expertise of EPIC Broker Management System.
  • Deliver the highest standard of review and processing of Agency and Direct bill policies.
  • Engage with team daily to drive productivity and troubleshoot for issue resolution.
  • Display strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Work cohesively with team to achieve desired results with daily tasks and responsibilities while adhering to HUB Standards.
  • Display strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
  • Offer robust analytical, logical, and technical support to our service and sales teams.
  • Provide prompt and accurate solutions to daily queries, both internal and external.
  • Demonstrate high level of initiative to drive results and improvements.
  • Complete activity reconciliation for Policy changes and Cancellations in a timely fashion.
  • Generate client communication and follow-up activity for registered notices of cancellation and offers to renew from the various forms in which they are received.
  • Reception relief when needed.
  • Back up new business processing as required.
  • Training and mentorship of fellow team members.
  • Supportively Assist, participate and contribute to workflows, processes, and meetings.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications And Expertise That Pave The Way For Success

  • Post-Secondary Education.
  • Minimum of 2 years customer service experience.
  • Experience in EPIC an asset, but not required.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Great attitude, self-motivated and logical thinker that can work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Strong verbal and written Communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise initiative and follow-up skills.

The expected salary range for this position is $41,000 to $43,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
