THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
Base Salary:$22.50/hr
We are looking for Technology Interns to join our teams and contribute to technology and platforms that support our employees, partners, and clients. Whether your interests are in infrastructure, business technology, or workplace technology, you will work on real problems that have meaningful impact. From your first week, you will be embedded on a team and treated as a contributor, not an observer.
As a Summer Intern on our Enterprise Technology & Cloud Platforms team, you will work on real, production-impacting initiatives that power the technology foundation of a national organization. From cloud platforms and infrastructure to automation, reliability, and developer enablement, our work directly enables teams across the enterprise to move faster, safer, and at scale.
We value ownership, curiosity, and sound judgment. The strongest interns here take initiative, ask thoughtful questions, and seek feedback early. They are comfortable navigating ambiguity, thinking critically about trade-offs, and holding a high bar for quality in code, data, and documentation. We also care deeply about collaboration. Clear communication, humility, and a willingness to learn quickly are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Own a real project scoped specifically for the internship, with clear goals, milestones, and outcomes.
- Contribute to the design, build, and delivery of production-quality solutions across cloud platforms, infrastructure, automation, security, or enterprise systems.
- Work closely with experienced engineers, architects, and platform leaders who will provide hands-on mentorship and guidance.
- Apply strong technical fundamentals: writing clean, maintainable code or configurations, validating outcomes, and documenting your work clearly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (engineering, product, security, operations) to refine requirements and incorporate feedback.
- Present your work and learnings at the end of the internship to your team and leadership.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Are currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related program.
- Have foundational experience or coursework in areas such as software development, cloud technologies, infrastructure, or systems engineering.
- Enjoy solving problems, asking thoughtful questions, and learning quickly.
- Are comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking ownership of your work.
- Communicate clearly and collaborate well with others.
