Your future duties and responsibilities
As part of a collaborative external communications team, you will contribute to the success of a high-profile event by supporting engagement efforts with sponsors, speakers, and attendees. Guided by your team, you’ll assist with daily operations, help manage key data, and ensure a smooth, positive experience for all participants.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting event sponsors and speakers by collecting and managing key information such as bios, headshots, logos, and session details;
- Tracking deliverables, deadlines, and discount codes, ensuring all registration-related data is accurate and up to date;
- Acting as a liaison for basic sponsor, speaker, and delegate inquiries, providing timely and professional support;
- Entering and maintaining sponsor and speaker data across the registration website and mobile app, ensuring all content is consistent and current;
- Conducting regular content audits and coordinating updates or corrections with relevant teams;
- Monitoring attendee registrations and generating regular reports on trends, attendee profiles, and key performance indicators (KPIs);
- Identifying potential registration issues or anomalies and collaborating with the team to resolve them efficiently.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Post-secondary student in Marketing, Communications, or a related field;`

Relevant professional experience (internship, student job or co-op) is preferred;

Strong organizational skills;

Keen interest in event planning;

Team spirit, autonomy, and adaptability;

Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written;
-
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role, which involves interactions with both national and international clients.
