About the role

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time highly motivated Field Operations Specialist to join our client's team. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals who excel in fast-paced, physically demanding environments and take pride in working as part of a high-performance team.

You'll be responsible for supporting field operations, maintaining equipment, ensuring site safety, and assisting with tactical or logistical missions in diverse outdoor and industrial settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform field operations, including setup, patrols, inspections, and support of on-site activities.
  • Operate and maintain a variety of tools, vehicles, and communications equipment.
  • Support safety, security, and emergency response initiatives across multiple job sites.
  • Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure operational readiness.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve mission objectives under tight deadlines.
  • Participate in training and drills to maintain peak physical and operational performance.
  • Adapt to changing work environments, weather conditions, and field challenges.
  • Complete accurate daily reports and communicate effectively with supervisors and team leads.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical or trades background an asset).
  • 2+ years of experience in field operations, logistics, security, construction, or emergency response is an asset
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record is an asset
  • Physically fit and able to work in demanding environments (lifting up to 50 lbs, long hours outdoors).
  • Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
  • Safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, WHMIS, H2S Alive, confined space) considered an asset.
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada ( Canadian citizen or permanent resident)
