Responsibilities
Develop and improve preventive maintenance procedures for tractors;
Management and optimization of mechanical workshops in Canada (Coteau-du-Lac, Napanee, Windsor, Calgary);
Develop and improve maintenance strategies and related performance indicators;
Work in collaboration with the team covering trailers to follow up on preventive maintenance of trailers;
Monitor budget and improve maintenance costs;
Manage damaged equipment;
Manage a team with various responsibilities;
Develop and maintain a network of suppliers for equipment maintenance;
Negotiate quotes for work related to equipment repairs;
Management of the plate team (IRP) and permits for all transport operations;
Participate in the configuration and definition of equipment specifications;
Participate in analysis, operational profitability projects and return on investment projects;
All other tasks related to the position.
Requirements
7 to 10 years of experience in a related or similar position;
Bachelor’s degree administration (an asset);
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, mainly Outlook and Excel
Bilingual, written and spoken, English & French (Spanish an asset)
Basic knowledge of accounting (tax calculation)
Knowledge of government standards (SAAQ, CVOR, US DOT, an asset)
Valid driver license and passport
Required Skills:
7 to 10 years of experience in a related or similar position;
Bachelor’s degree administration (an asset);
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, mainly Outlook and Excel
