Job Description
The Estimate Review Team Manager is responsible for leading a flexible workforce of Residential Estimate Review Experts across Canada. This individual will thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment and excel at steering the team towards achieving productivity goals while balancing evolving business requirements.
Team Leadership Accountabilities
- Lead and motivate a team to meet productivity goals and objectives.
- Evaluate performance and address or escalate performance issues promptly.
- Develop and nurture relationships with internal TD partners and external vendors.
- Help with problem solving complex estimating problems.
- Take proactive steps in resolving customer complaints through internal and external channels.
- Create and drive Pulse Action plans on an annual basis for continuous improvement.
- Assist in completing Workday actions throughout the year.
- Manage schedules and queues to ensure prompt actions are maintained.
Business Operations
- Mitigate risks by implementing key controls.
- Understand technical and business aspects of Residential services to identify synergies and areas for improvement.
- Lead initiatives to drive savings, increase efficiencies, and boost team capacity.
- Ensure sound business decisions and prioritize key areas of focus for the team.
Financial Management
- Manage expenses in accordance with the TD organizational expense policy.
- Foster team engagement and develop an agile workforce to optimize oversight of residential spend.
- Lead the team in executing strategic projects and initiatives.
Employee/Team Development
- Build a culture of inclusion and align a diverse team with TDI’s shared business vision.
- Continuously enhance knowledge and expertise within the team.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and professional development.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in team leadership and management.
- Strong ability to lead teams through dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to customer complaints.
- Comprehensive understanding of business and technical aspects of property claims services.
- Knowledge of Xactanalysis's administrative and reporting functions is preferred.
- Strong financial management skills, particularly in overseeing team expenditures.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaged team
- Reporting skills, creation, maintenance and communication of the reports with the ability to provide insights in executive summary format
