Are you the one we’re looking for?
We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Supervisor, Wesley Supportive Housing, who demonstrates our values of compassion, accountability, responsiveness, and empowerment; to our clients, families and each other.
The Supervisor, Wesley Supportive Housing will be working with and overseeing the Wesley Supportive Housing team to support 10 adults living with a dual diagnosis.
This position is a unionized, full-time, temporary position. The contract is until December 31, 2026. The rate of pay is $28.81 per hour. This position is 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily program operations including client care, case management, recreation, cleaning, and supply ordering.

Maintain records of relevant client documentation including case plans, notes, medical sheets, and financial information.

Schedule frontline staff and maintain a relief roster and call sheet.

Assist program Manager with interviewing and hiring as needed.
-
Lead assessment and intake of new clients.

Facilitate regular team meetings.
-
Maintain communication and attend meetings with community partners (i.e. YWCA Hamilton, St. Joseph’s Healthcare, passport agencies etc.).

Participate in 24-hour on-call support rotation.
-
Handle petty cash and client PIN money, maintain records, and meet with finance department on a monthly basis to pick up funds.

Other duties as assigned.
What you will brin****g:
-
Completed education in Social Services or similar field of study.
-
Knowledge and experience of dual diagnosis clients including case management, assessment, and intake.

Experience in supervision, leadership, and scheduling.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Priority will be given to candidates with experience in the program.
