Trillium Health Partners (THP) is seeking a Consultant to join the Strategy Management Office.
The Consultant within the Strategy Management Office will work collaboratively with teams across the organization to support transformative initiatives, processes and policy development designed to achieve the goals identified in the hospital’s strategic plan. This includes strategy management and corporate planning to support organizational effectiveness and support the success on strategic projects and initiatives at THP.
With a continuous strategic planning and future-ready lens, the Strategy Management Office leads and supports key projects to increase capacity, improve care and support the health of our community, both inside and outside our walls. The ideal candidate exemplifies a commitment to THP’s mission and values and demonstrates dedication to a person-centered approach to delivering quality hospital care.
Here’s what you will get to do:
- Support corporate strategy development, planning and the development, coordination and management of the hospital’s corporate planning cycle;
- Participate in integrated cross-functional teams to provide enhanced understanding of business issues through strategy-focused operational intelligence, analysis and facilitation for both the planning and implementation of strategic initiatives;
- Support strategic plan performance, corporate initiative monitoring, and status reporting to all levels of the organization;
- Participate in the execution and support specific elements of key strategic projects;
- Support the development of in-house project management knowledge and best practices;
- Participate in the creation and delivery of innovative presentations and proposals to all levels of the organization including senior management, Board of Directors and external audiences;
- Engage and communicate with stakeholders on an ongoing basis and ensure changing resource and project requirements are met and understood; and
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including regional, provincial and/or private sector partners to ensure the successful completion of project deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidates must have an undergraduate degree; business, life sciences, or related discipline preferred.
- Masters degree in public health/healthcare administration, business administration, or equivalent experience considered an asset.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare environment working with complex and dynamic teams.
- Strong understanding of the hospital’s strategic plan.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Strong leadership, adaptability, interpersonal and collaboration skills are essential for this role.
- Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multi task and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft suite skills is essential.
- Satisfactory performance and attendance required This position is a hybrid work model with a mix of work from home and on-site work (and/or work at off-site partner locations).
