About The Opportunity Our client, a respected engineering consulting firm, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Plumbing Design Engineer/Designer to join their Mississauga office. What You'll Do As a Senior Plumbing Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the planning, design, and coordination of building services projects:

• Design and develop plumbing and fire protection systems for various building types
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and technical reports
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate daily with architects, in-house designers, consultants, and project teams
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support throughout project lifecycle
• Assist during construction phases by reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and resolving site issues

What You Bring You'll thrive in this role if you have:

• Minimum 10 years of Canadian experience in Plumbing & Fire Protection system design
• Strong understanding of Ontario Building Code, NFPA standards, and industry best practices
• Proficiency in preparing layouts, schematics, and system calculations
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)
