**Schedule:**Variable - Depending on need. Must be available for the following shifts: 7:00am - 3:00pm or 8:00am - 4:00pm or 12:00pm - 8:00pm

We are currently looking for Timesheet Clinician(s) on an as-needed basis. The successful applicant(s) will be placed on a roster, and contacted in advance of the day coverage is required. Timesheet Clinicians may be required to work at any one of CMCC’s clinics. Please indicate your preferred working day(s) on the cover letter.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful applicant will be responsible for taking an active role in facilitating the education of interns and is responsible for supervising, training, instructing and mentoring interns in all aspects of clinical management, with emphasis on patient care and professional development.
The Clinician is responsible for preparing interns in conducting patient evaluations and is accountable for overseeing and verifying quality patient care, monitoring patient progress, and specific performance indicators. The Clinician will be required to effectively evaluate student/interns on their clinical competencies, educational requirements, counsel students when needed, and ensure compliance to clinical policies and procedures. Evidence of practicing ethical practice building strategies is preferred.
Clinicians are role models for our interns, so it is essential that the successful candidate conduct themselves in a positive and professional manner in all that they do. Scholarship and institutional service, including practice development, are expectations of this position.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Doctor of Chiropractic designation from an accredited institution.

Master's Degree or Fellowship preferred.

Completion of Residency program OR 3 years clinical experience.

Completion of CMCC’sTeacher Education Programcourse (offered by CMCC) within the timeframe stipulated by CMCC
-
Completion of**Evidence Based Practice (EBP)**modules within the timeframe stipulated by CMCC
-
Must be an active member in good standing with the CCO and have no notices of Professional Conduct on the public record, member of the relevant provincial association (OCA), and CCA.

Current certification (< 2 years) in Emergency First Aid with CPR Level C and AED.

Experience as a Clinical Instructor is preferred.

Demonstrates the principles of evidence-based practice

Demonstrates evidence of practicing ethical practice building strategies

Experience conducting classroom or clinical instruction based upon the course learning objectives preferred

Computer literacy required.

Must have knowledge of and experience in using Zoom

Knowledge of and experience in using CMCC clinic electronic health record system is an asset

Mentoring experience preferred

Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

Experience in Interprofessional Collaboration and Education is preferred.

Experience in clinical research preferred.
