Workforce Business Analyst
About the role
We are looking for a Workforce Business Analyst to support the development and maintenance of enterprise-level HR applications and processes. This role will report to the Business Analyst Lead to work closely with the HR & ERP teams to support documentation, testing, data preparation, and reporting support.
This position provides dedicated support for HR systems, handling confidential workforce data and processes that require a higher level of focused attention.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically curious, and eager to learn. You will be responsible for ensuring that HR and business processes and systems are accurately documented, thoroughly tested, and supported with reliable data and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Business Analyst Lead to execute initiatives and ensure consistency in delivery.
- Support HR system upgrades and version releases by coordinating regression testing, validating integrations, and ensuring downstream system stability.
- Partner with the HRIS Manager to design and deliver new Power BI reports while maintaining existing complex dashboards, building measures and DAX calculations to support evolving business needs.
- Collaborate on the design and rollout of HR technology solutions, including self-service and digital tools.
- Validate and reconcile HR data across ERP, payroll, and HR systems; support data governance frameworks and audit readiness.
- Partner with HR, ERP, and business leaders to translate business needs into technical requirements and align system capabilities with organizational priorities.
- Research, evaluate, and support the adoption of emerging HR technologies and system enhancements to improve scalability and effectiveness.
- Provide knowledge transfer, training, and system documentation to enable HR users and business partners to adopt new tools and workflows
Required Qualifications
- Strong documentation and process-mapping skills.
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP and pivot tables).
- Proficiency with SQL (ability to understand data structures, basic queries, and data validation) and DAX formulas
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a business analyst or related role
Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 DOE

- Must be able to effectively communicate, (ie see, hear, speak and write clearly) in order to communicate with colleagues and/or customers; manual dexterity required for occasional reaching, lifting of light office objects, and operating office equipment
