Responsibilities Join this highly motivated and highly technical support team where you will find yourself expanding your IT knowledge on various technologies. The Messaging Sharing Discovery Support team is responsible for the resolution of incidents coming into our bin as we are a level 2 support team. MSDS works closely with TSS Level 1 as incidents are forwarded to us by them and in turn MSDS escalates if required to DSS and DEV teams such as SharePoint, Office, RightFax, Email Infrastructure, Enterprise Archiving Infrastructure. The rare opportunity to work with more than just one application is available for the person that joins our team. The chance to enhance your overall knowledge and exposure to so many applications is right here. Furthermore, you will be able to work on improving existing and or create new processes that are used by MSDS and our support/dev partners.
Must Have Skills
- University or College Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent years of experience as a Technical Analyst
- Knowledge of incident management
- Knowledge of Electronic Faxing Products such as Rightfax
- SharePoint 2013/2019/Online
- Microsoft Office 2013/2016, Microsoft 365 Apps
- Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
- Strong organizational, time management and incident management capabilities.
- Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses
Nice-to-have Skills
- Technical Certification in an IT area
- Lean Six Sigma methodology understanding
- Agile methodology understanding
- ServiceNow exposure
- Incident Management Experience is a must
- Knowledge Base Article - creation/maintenance
