Your role
Key accountabilities/activities
The Product Manager – Connectivity & Sales Efficiency is the subject matter expert on related related services and products (e.g., SmartLink, Optimization, Lead Management, System Tools). This role involves staying updated on new developments and product releases, and training of sales team to effectively promote products. The Product Manager collaborates closely with the Business Line Manager - CTS Sales and Marketing to formulate market strategies.
The Product Manager – Connectivity &Sales Efficiency reports to the Business Line Manager CTS Sales and Marketing
Main responsibilities include:

Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with divisional goals.

Review sales proposals to promote premium value offering and competitive advantages.
-
Collect, organize, and store all commercial, technical, and marketing materials related to your products for easy access by the sales team.

Promote the organization as a premium brand in the market, focusing on proactive lead generation and identifying key prospects.

Define and develop a solid product strategy, ensuring strong market positioning for each product within targeted segments.

Build knowledge of the competitive landscape and drive the use of sales tools (e.g., ShowPad, Smartlink, PowerBi Dashboards, Especital).
-
Analyze lead progress and conversion rates, adjusting strategies as needed to improve efficiency.
-
Oversee leads based on predefined criteria to ensure alignment with the company's target market.

Develop strategies to enhance the user experience and adoption of connectivity & optimization products.
-
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape of connectivity products to define product vision, positioning, and value proposition.

Create detailed reports on product metrics, sales performance, and ROI of marketing initiatives.

Implement improvements in the CTS processes to increase sales efficiency.
-
Collaborate with data team to improve installed base data quality.
-
Support marketing team in promoting products and services on digital platforms.
-
Provide training and competence development to both internal and external stakeholders utilizing both classroom and web based resources.
-
Support affiliate customers (Key Accounts and Distributors) to drive service product adoption and revenue growth.
-
Work closely with the Product Manager - Keep Fit to develop and implement a cohesive strategy for the CTS Division.

Supporting in other related tasks and projects

Complying with the organization’s environmental, health & safety, recycling, sustainability efforts and quality assurance policies and standards
To succeed, you will need
-
Minimum 3 years of solid experience in sales, product development or a similar role
-
University degree in business, marketing, or similar knowledge gained through experience
-
Strong interpersonal communication skills and an ability to give presentations and trainings
-
Strong knowledge of Atlas Copco equipment and products
-
Ability to communicate both written & verbally in English and French
-
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
-
Experience using a CRM system
-
Results driven, autonomous and self-motivated
-
Must be able and willing to travel in the designated territory
Fluency in English is required in order to communicate with colleagues and customers outside of Quebec.
Special Conditions
-
This position is a standard office job and requires presence in the office 3x per week and presence at customer sites on occasion.

This position requires flexibility to travel within Canada and internationally when required
