What You’ll Do

As a Machine Operator Lead Hand, you’ll be at the heart of operations - right on the floor where materials take shape.

Your Day-to-day

Operate machinery while leading and supporting the production team Promote a safe work environment and ensure health & safety compliance Supervise production to meet quality and efficiency standards Plan and coordinate work based on production schedules Monitor output and adjust processes as needed Follow BRCGS procedures and maintain accurate documentation Complete daily shift reports Build positive team relationships and address concerns promptly Support health & safety initiatives and troubleshoot production issues Take on additional duties as assigned by the Production Manager

Your strengths as a Machine Operator Lead Hand

You Are a Natural Fit For This Role If

Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and guide teams Proven ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with employees and management Minimum of 5 years’ of manufacturing experience in Ontario, with at least 3 years in a Machine Operator or Lead Hand role. Knowledge of health and safety policies and the Occupational Health and Safety Act Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment Ability to drive engagement and gain buy-in for continuous improvement initiatives
