School District No.43 (Coquitlam) is the third largest school district in BC with approximately 4,400 employees and 32,000 students in 70 schools. Coquitlam School District is accepting applications from candidates for the position of a School Counsellor (Temporary Assignments).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Successful applicants will possess the appropriate education, training and or experience.

  • Relevant teaching experience
  • Masters degree in counselling or counselling psychology, with a completed, supervised practicum.
  • Preference given to candidates eligible for certification with the British Columbia Teacher Regulation Branch

  • Certification with the Teacher Regulation Branch (TRB)
  • _We require two teach administrator references (principal/vice principal or equivalent) and one must be from your current/most recent position. _
