Faber is a two-sided gig-marketplace that uses an app-based platform to directly connect construction and light industrial companies to workers. About the Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will have the opportunity to lead supply acquisition, supply growth, and operational efficiency for our temporary worker app. You would develop workforce planning strategies for each of our markets, combining market trends and internal growth projections to ensure Faber is capable of supplying orders as we continue to scale. You would also lead our Operations team, developing and improving on internal processes to streamline worker placements, utilizing automation and AI tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop supply strategies aligned with Faber's growth goals for current and planned markets
- Proactively determine supply needs based on market trends and internal data, and ensure Faber is capable of filling orders within a standard deviation
- Build strong relationships with internal sales team members, collaboratively addressing any supply-related issues, and implementing solutions that work for all parties
- Oversee marketing efforts for new worker acquisition
- Manage and lead Faber's current internal operations team based in various markets
- Work very closely with our product & eng teams to develop new and improve on existing dispatching strategies
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify opportunities for growth within the supply side of the business
- Leverage current data and implement new data capture to monitor and improve workforce quality across the marketplace
- Contribute to KPI's such as Order Fill %, Supply Quality Rating, Ops Associate Efficiency, User Engagement, Order Completion, etc
Skills and Requirements
- Senior-level experience within Operations or Supply departments of a ride-share or gig-marketplace company
- Experience leading strategic organizational changes across multiple locations
- Desire to pursue growth opportunities
- Strong time management and ability to create your own schedule and tasks without much oversight
- Strong understanding of gig-marketplace companies and fulfillment dynamics
- Proficiency with software tools and experience deploying new products to a large user base
- Very comfortable with analyzing big data sets and making product-led changes based on that analysis
- Led a team of more than 2 people as their direct reports
