About the role

Gracorp is an experienced real estate developer that has evolved from the Graham Group, one of Canada’s largest construction companies, established nearly a century ago. We are passionate about transforming spaces and communities. Located in the core of beautiful downtown Vancouver, Gracorp’s British Columbia group is currently developing several multi-family projects across the Lower Mainland, totaling a value of approximately $1.3Bn.

Reporting to the Vice President, Real Estate, the Development Coordinator will provide coordination and administrative support to projects and project teams in various lifecycles of Gracorp’s Vancouver multi-family and mixed-use development projects.

As a Development Coordinator At Gracorp You Will

  • Support Development Managers on 3-6 projects.
  • Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Assist in preparing development applications, permits, and other regulatory documentation.
  • Monitor project milestones and provide regular updates to Development Managers.
  • Review and manage project documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations and company processes.
  • Maintain database of municipal policy and planning materials, such as maps, policies and decisions.
  • Support or lead the preparation of presentation decks for a range of audiences.
  • Assist with the preparation of budget reviews, working with internal staff to process payments and prepare internal project reports.
  • Assist with processing and verifying project legal agreements.

Qualifications

  • Formal education in Business, Commerce, Urban Planning or Real Estate is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a development or related role.
  • Possess a team-first mentality, balancing humility and ambition to drive results.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated awareness and conectedness to the industry.
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of BlueBeam and Microsoft Project is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to research and interpret municipal and provincial policies.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborative and proactive team contributor.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritse multiple tasks while maintaining a strong work ethic.

Compensation

  • 75,000 – 85,000 per annum, commensurate with education and experience.

  • 3 to 5 weeks of vacation per year, with credit for prior industry experience.
