Position: Bioinformatics Researcher
Type: Contract Compensation: $60–$90/hour Location: Remote Duration: 1–2 months Commitment: 10–20 hours/week Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI model capabilities in bioinformatics to design and execute complex workflows.
- Develop benchmarks using real-world, published scientific data to test model performance.
- Collaborate with AI labs to ensure rigorous scientific reasoning and tool proficiency.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Improve model outputs by providing structured feedback and enhancing training data quality.
Qualifications Must-Have
- Must be a current graduate student (M.S. or Ph.D.) or hold a higher degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or a related field.
- Experience using bioinformatics command line tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Interview Process
- 15 mins interview.
- Decisions made within four days following assessment completion.
Compensation & Legal
- Hourly contractor classification.
