The City of Orillia – Parks, Recreation & Culture Division is currently looking for a Sports Attendant (Contract) to join our team!
This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our community by supporting active recreational programs, leagues, and facility operations across our sports environments.
💼 Position Details:
- Part-time contract
- $18.30 – $18.83/hour
- Flexible schedule (varies based on league and facility needs)
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and support sports programming, including Skate Patrol, Rock Wall Instruction, and Timekeeping
- Assist with equipment setup, takedown, and ongoing facility maintenance
- Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for participants of all ages
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure safety guidelines are followed
✅ Ideal Candidate:
- Passionate about sports, recreation, and community programming
- Experience in sports instruction, officiating, or facility operation (preferred)
- Strong customer service and communication skills - First Aid/CPR certification required
