Job Description

Join the Oliver & Bonacini team as a Server/Bartender, where your hospitality skills shine in every guest interaction. Under the guidance of our Front of House Management Team, you’ll be knowledgeable about all food and beverage items, answering questions, providing assistance, and creating memorable experiences for every guest. You’ll maintain a clean and organized section or bar, monitor quality, and ensure that every item meets our presentation standards.We’re looking for someone with experience in both serving and bartending, who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is passionate about creating exceptional experiences.

THE DAY TO DAY:

  • Answer guest questions about food, beverages, wine, and restaurant services.

  • Take and prepare beverage orders according to Oliver & Bonacini standards.

  • Assist with food running, ensuring plates reach the correct guests promptly.

  • Present beverages clearly and efficiently at the service bar pick-up area.

  • Monitor cleanliness and organization of your section and bar; maintain a clutter-free environment.

  • Pre-portion condiments and ensure fridges and bar areas are stocked with necessary supplies.

  • Monitor food and beverage quality and presentation standards.

  • Communicate beverage descriptions, specials, and relevant information to guests and team members.

  • Setup and break down the bar, including the dishwasher and cappuccino machine.

  • Check and maintain beer keg and liquor levels; track inventory and assist with ordering.

  • Practice high floor awareness and clear/clean tables or bar areas as needed.

  • Follow all food safety standards and procedures.

  • Be attentive to special guest requests, including allergies.

  • Empty garbage, change linen bags, and dispose of recycling as required.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years serving and bartending experience in a similar environment

  • Smart Serve Certification a requirement

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment

  • Organizational skills and sales ability

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • High level of product knowledge, including wine, spirits and cocktails

  • Ability to stand for long period of time and lift up to 25lbs -Full time position

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
