Join a dynamic video marketing studio specializing in cinematic content for fitness brands and local service businesses. This full-time, remote role focuses on assembling high-quality edits from professionally shot and color-graded footage, with an emphasis on storytelling, pacing, music selection, and advanced caption work. The ideal candidate will be comfortable editing cinematic promos, adapting to various business types, and delivering polished, engaging results. Flexible hours are offered, but some overlap with UK time is required for feedback and daily check-ins. This position is suited for editors who value creativity, consistency, and quality, and who are committed to building brands through impactful video content.
Deliverables
- Assemble and edit cinematic promo videos, short-form social content, testimonials, gym tours, and lead-generating ads
- Apply advanced captioning techniques and ensure captions are accurate, engaging, and visually appealing
- Select and synchronize music to enhance storytelling and emotional impact
- Maintain a clean, modern, and story-driven editing style across all projects
- Collaborate with the team for feedback and revisions, ensuring timely delivery of final edits
- Participate in a paid trial edit as part of the selection process
Requirements
- Proven experience editing cinematic promotional videos, ideally for fitness or service-based brands
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and shot selection
- Proficiency with professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
- Advanced skills in creating and animating captions beyond basic templates or auto-caption tools
- Ability to adapt editing style for different business types and content formats
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setting
- Comfortable with flexible hours and daily check-ins overlapping with UK time
