Job Summary
The HR Specialist supports the organization’s human resources functions by managing employee-related processes, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and contributing to a positive workplace culture. This role focuses on day-to-day HR operations such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR policy implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
- Administer employee benefits, leave management, and payroll coordination
- Serve as a point of contact for employee HR-related inquiries
- Assist in employee relations matters and help resolve workplace issues
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices
- Support performance management and employee development initiatives
- Assist with training programs and HR projects
- Prepare HR reports and documentation as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in an HR role (typically 2–4 years)
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
Preferred Skills
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
- Experience with recruitment or employee engagement initiatives
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
