The Faculty of Pharmacy at Université Laval invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the field of Clinical Pharmacy. This field encompasses clinical teaching activities and research in clinical pharmacy topics.

ABOUT CLINICAL PHARMACY
Clinical Pharmacy is one of the Faculty’s leading domains, actively contributing to the advancement of pharmaceutical practices and the improvement of patient care. Faculty members in this field conduct research broadly related to clinical pharmacy. Research interests include pharmacotherapy, development and evaluation of pharmaceutical services and care, primary care services, pharmacy specialties, professional practice and models, clinical toxicology and drug abuse, pharmacovigilance, adherence, health education (pharmacy), interdisciplinarity, and theranostics.
Interest in emerging areas in clinical pharmacy is considered an asset. These may include digital pharmacy, development of digital competencies, or the integration of artificial intelligence into pharmacy practice.
Job Description
The successful candidate will hold a full-time career-track position (100%) at the Faculty of Pharmacy. Continuation of clinical activities may be possible upon agreement with the Dean. The candidate must demonstrate leadership in conducting scientific projects related to pharmacy, whether clinical (research integrated into care), technological, professional, or evaluative.
The candidate will supervise or co-supervise graduate students enrolled in Master’s and Doctoral programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences. They will also participate in teaching students enrolled in the Faculty’s professional programs.

Selection criterias
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. (or equivalent for non-Ph.D. holders*) in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, or another relevant discipline related to clinical pharmacy. Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship (or equivalent) is considered an asset. Holding a license to practice issued by the Ordre des pharmaciens du Québec is also considered an asset.
Candidates must demonstrate research aptitude, including the potential to secure grants and publish in peer-reviewed journals. They must be able to teach in French, or acquire proficiency within four years, and work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. University-level teaching experience is considered an asset.
