Reporting to the Grocery Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
- Provide Legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
- Lead a culture of safety and maximizing operational efficiency.
- Completion of daily reports, cash ups and other administrative tasks.
- Be present on floor to assist with customer questions, complaints, and comments.
- Understand all areas of store operations and supervise the team in their daily duties.
- Procurement, receiving and merchandising of product with focus on customer- friendly presentation.
- Work with management to improve store efficiency.
- Support and follow the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
- Perform all other Duties as assigned.

Who You Are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service:
- You have a high school diploma; experience within the Cooperative Retailing System (CRS) would be considered an asset.
- You have proven experience in cash handling, balancing tills, and completing end of day procedures.
- You are honest and trustworthy, are results oriented, and strive to be the best in the work that you do.
- You are highly organized and productive, able to work with minimal supervision.
- You have a strong focus on teamwork and relationship-building, with respect for diverse perspectives.
- You are confident with numbers and point of sale (POS) systems, comfortable handling large transactions.
- You have proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- You have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment.
- You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
