About the role

The Granite Club is looking for a full-time contract Talent Acquisition Specialist who will assist the Human Resources team in the daily operation of the Human Resources Office while maintaining overall responsibility for certain areas of the Human Resources functions. This position will approximately be a sixteen-month contract. They will be managing the recruitment process for all divisions of the Club, managing the applicant pool, employee onboarding and supporting the leadership team with the talent acquisition needs. Primary Responsibilities

Maintains flow of applicants for the Club for current and future vacancies, manages incoming resumes to ensure the resume bank is active and updated Coordinates internal and external job posting process Coordinates internet and external search firm recruiting efforts; generates creative recruitment sources, as needed Coordinates and participates in university and college career fairs Works with targeted colleges to make the Granite Club an employer of choice through the coordination and participation in guest lecture opportunities at high school, college and university level, increasing student awareness of club industry career paths Assists managers and supervisors in interview process as needed, including telephone and/or first round screening interviews, as required Administers criminal background check process prior to start of employment Prepares and processes all New Hire paperwork to ensure that new employees sign all of the appropriate paperwork and are informed about the Club policies, benefits etc. Processes employee files for set up with payroll and into the HRIS. Ensures compliance adherence including immigration laws when hiring foreign workers. Coordinates and facilitates new employee orientation (coordinates presenters, facilities, participants, materials and co-facilitates a portion of the program) Provides guidance to all employees and assists with the interpretation of Human Resources policies and procedures and ensures consistent application. Monitors these Policies and Procedures and makes recommendations for updates as appropriate Effectively manage the Recruitment and Onboarding module in HRIS. Respond to employee queries, assists with office coverage and administrative duties Other duties as requested Required Qualifications Diploma or Degree in social sciences, business, human resources or related discipline or equivalent years of directly related experience. Minimum three years of human resources experience in a customer service-oriented environment, or hospitality experience preferred Well versed in handling seasonal high-volume recruitment Understanding of compliances related to hiring foreign workers including students Experienced user in Recruitment and/or Onboarding module with any HRIS.

Proficient in using technology tools e.g. Microsoft Office, Teams and HRIS

Experience with Ceridian Dayforce HCM and ATS is an asset Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle interruptions Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to manage conflict, coach and assist in positive problem resolution Compensation The salary range for this position is $62,000 to $71,000.
