POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Garden Valley School Division invites applications for the full-time (1.0 FTE) term position of Business Education Teacher at Garden Valley Collegiate effective September 8, 2026 – June 30, 2027.
Garden Valley School Division is a dynamic and thriving educational community located in the heartland of Manitoba's beautiful Pembina Valley Region. With a student population of about 4,300, the division encompasses 14 schools in the communities of Winkler, Plum Coulee, Schanzenfeld, Hochfeld, Blumenfeld, Reinland, and Blumengart.

The division offers a variety of programs in academics, fine arts, athletics, and technology, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**:**
- Hold or be eligible to hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
- A strong background in business education is considered an asset. Courses such as Business Management, Accounting, Venture Development among others will be the responsibility of the successful applicant.
- The ability to work alongside teachers, colleagues and contribute collaboratively as a team member is essential.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check & Child Abuse Registry Check

SCHOOL INFORMATION:
Garden Valley Collegiate is a grades 9-12 high school that is located on Main Street in the city of Winkler. We have an estimated student population of 650, a teaching staff of almost 50 and a support staff of 25. GVC is a thriving high school learning community that offers a variety of programs in academics, fine arts, athletics and technology.
