About The Studio Our client is a well established architectural practice recognized for its refined design sensibility, collaborative culture, and thoughtful approach to architecture. With a growing portfolio and a strong presence in the Calgary market, they are now seeking an Architectural Project Manager or Project Lead to play a key leadership role—someone who thrives in an environment that values both design excellence and technical execution.
The Role As a Project Manager/Lead , you’ll guide projects from concept to completion, managing all phases from early design through documentation and construction. You’ll lead internal teams, coordinate consultants, oversee project budgets and schedules, and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
This role is ideal for an architecturally-minded professional —someone with a balance of design awareness, technical expertise, and leadership ability—who enjoys working closely with creative partners and mentoring project teams.
You’ll be hands-on in the process: contributing to design development, reviewing technical details, and ensuring projects are delivered with the quality, care, and craft that defines the firm’s reputation.
What You Bring
- 8+ years of architectural experience within the Canadian (or North American) market
- Architectural registration or Intern Architect status in Canada preferred; related technical backgrounds are also considered
- Proven project management or project coordination experience on mid-to-large-scale design projects
- Portfolio experience across a range of sectors such as multi-family, commercial, cultural, or public projects
- Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, and contract administration
- Proficiency in Revit (preferred), with familiarity in AutoCAD
- Excellent understanding of the Alberta Building Code and local permitting processes
- Exceptional communication, organization, and leadership skills. Able to work with project financials, budgets and schedules
- PMP designation considered an asset
Why Join This Studio This is a rare opportunity to join a highly regarded, design-driven firm where your input will truly shape the success of each project. You’ll work alongside passionate architects and designers who value creativity, mentorship, and collaboration—within a culture that emphasizes quality over quantity, and long-term professional growth.
