MEMS is seeking an Environmental Science Co-Op Student to join our Brownfield Assessment & Development team for a fall 2026 co-op term. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in environmental consulting, environmental assessments, field investigations, environmental monitoring, reclamation, and technical reporting.
We are seeking one student in our Calgary office and one student in our Sherwood Park office.
What You Will Do
Support Phase I, II, and III ESAs
Assist with soil, groundwater, soil vapour, and surface water sampling Participate in vegetation monitoring and reclamation projects Compile environmental data and review laboratory results Assist with technical reports and regulatory submissions Work alongside experienced environmental professionals
What We Are Looking For
Enrolled in Environmental Science or related program
Strong communication and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and technical writing skills Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams Valid non-GDL Class 5 Driver License
