Job Description
This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-growing organization in a hugely successful fund administration organization. The successful applicant will join the Banking, Fund Financing, and Treasury Product Management team focusing on strategic initiatives supporting our client-facing and core-banking solutions. This individual will be responsible for supporting change delivery across a variety of areas, including but not limited to: new Client facing features and user experience improvements, SWIFT and core banking application updates and upgrades, initiatives supporting target operating model efficiencies and operational excellence, and strategic Bank initiatives brought forth by the business that will support the further expansion of the Bank’s global processing footprint.
You will focus on collaborating with various stakeholders across the business to define requirements while recording and managing the JIRA / Confluence paper trail to provide proper evidence and support to project management. You will also serve as a subject matter expert and partner to the various development teams and ensure projects are delivered timely and according to stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate must demonstrate experience in a strategic business analyst role, which includes:
- Proactive collaboration across stakeholder groups to elicit business requirements, in support of the evolving Product delivery strategy
- Drive documentation, maintenance, and support for prioritization of business requirements across the Product backlog
- Creation and maintenance of UAT testing runbook use-cases to support Business testing cycles, in preparation for scheduled deployments
- Proactive identification and escalation of issues or delays to deliverable timelines and milestones
- Coordinated collaboration across the creation, maintenance and other strategic changes related to organizational target operating model documentation, standard operating procedures, and other Product / Project artefacts
- Creation and maintenance of user training manuals and supporting Product / educational documentation
- Assist with any product demos to internal stakeholders or external clients
- Provide day-to-day end user product support and subject matter expertise
Perform other Product Management related duties as required
Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
- BS/BA in business, economics, finance, accounting
Work Experience:
- 1-3+ years' experience in Business Analysis and/or Product Management within the Banking domain
- Performed a similar role in a similar industry with exposure to:
- Client-facing Products and Services
- Transaction messaging technology, via SWIFT
- Back Office or Middle Office operations supporting implementation of new products, services, and/or target operating model enhancements
Functional/Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of SWIFT and payment lifecycle fundamentals
- Working proficiency in Confluence and JIRA, as well as experience in documenting detailed business requirements and user stories
- Strong ability to clearly communicate at all levels of an organization, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to operate with a high level of precision in a fast-paced environment; multi-task with the ability to prioritize accordingly
- Ability to work well independently, as well as within a cross-functional team framework
- MS Office skills, with emphasis on proficiency in MS Visio and other workflow documentation tools
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and time management skills
