Where You'll Make an Impact We partner with healthcare organizations in North York, York Region, Scarborough, and the Champlain region. That means you’ll become a key part of established care teams in these communities. Your expertise will help clients achieve their goals and improve their daily lives, whether it’s restoring mobility, adapting home environments, or enhancing independence in day-to-day activities. Responsibilities As an Occupational Therapist with Staffy Health, you will: Conduct comprehensive assessments: Evaluate clients’ functional and cognitive abilities with clinical precision and genuine empathy.
Design personalized treatment plans: Develop tailored therapy plans with clear, measurable goals that guide each client’s journey toward greater independence.
Recommend empowering solutions: Suggest adaptive equipment and home or environmental modifications to make daily living safer, easier, and more fulfilling for clients.
Document & communicate effectively: Maintain clear documentation of progress and communicate proactively with interprofessional team members and families to keep everyone on the same page.
Uphold high standards: Follow all site policies, care protocols, and safety standards diligently, ensuring top-quality care and trust from patients and colleagues alike.
Qualifications You’re a great fit for this role if you have: Active Ontario licensure: Registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
Clinical experience: 3+ years of hands-on occupational therapy practice, preferably including experience in home care, long-term care (LTC), or rehab settings.
Independent & adaptable work style: Confidence working independently in various environments. You thrive in home visits, busy LTC facilities, or dynamic rehab centers, adapting easily to each context.
Tech-savvy approach: Proficiency with mobile workflows and digital documentation. (Our platform is app-based, so being comfortable with technology helps you hit the ground running.)
