What you will do:

• Full cycle accounting

• Project reporting

• Assist in the preparation of cash flows and forecasting

• Prepare and review/finalize monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements

• Monitor project expenses and budgets and produce monthly project reports

• Lead and participate in value added process improvement projects and implementation of new technology solutions

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles

• Assist with Controller duties

What you bring to the Team:

• 5+ years of accounting experience (construction sector considered an asset).
• CPA designation or working towards considered a strong asset.
• Experience with Sage 50
• Experience with Sage Intacct considered a strong asset
• Intermediate to advanced level knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
• Highly motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced office.
• Strong organizational capabilities.
• Detail oriented with accurate data entry skills.
