Lakeland College is currently accepting applications for a remote Sessional Part-Time Instructor (Veterinarian) in the Veterinary Technology Blended-Delivery Program. Applicants should have proficiency in surgical procedures (OVH and neuters), anesthesia & pain management and have availability for lectures running January/February and on-campus labs in February and May. These courses are being offered starting January 5, 2026 and onward into the spring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide instruction and support to students in the VT Blended-delivery program, delivering engaging, live online classroom sessions and hands-on, in-person lab experiences.
  • Work closely with the Blended Faculty, for both virtual and in-person settings, including the preparation and grading of assessments.
  • Participate actively in program meetings and collaborate with faculty to ensure effective student learning and course quality.
  • Follow institutional guidelines and accreditation standards to help maintain program quality and support a positive learning environment.

Job Requirements

  • Registered Veterinarian in good standing with the ABVMA
  • Comfortable working with online and digital platforms
  • High speed internet connection
  • Effective time management and organization skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate others and be committed to collaboration, effective goal setting, and professional accountability
  • Previous online teaching experience is an asset

All positions are Sessional Part-time Faculty appointments.
