The shipper/receiver works under the authority of the warehouse manager at Multi-action. The selected person must have knowledge about the shipping and receiving process and be able to work in team. The successful candidate must be proactive and able to communicate well in the course of his/her work.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Picking and packing customer orders;
• Receiving incoming materials, products or supplies;
• Physically moves material in and around warehouse;
• Ships outgoing materials, products or supplies;
• Takes precautions to protect warehouse contents against loss or damage;
• Overall warehouse support (physical labor);
• Supports customer care department & Production team;
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Monthly Inventory
• Performs all other related duties.

Skills requirement:

• Minimum of 5 years of shipping/receiving and inventory experience
• Able to drive a forklift
• Must be licensed to drive a forklift
• Must have reach/clamp truck experience
• Self-motivated, punctual, consistent, productive as well as efficient
• Time Management and ability to multitask
• Knowledge of Shipping management systems
• Must be able to bend and lift heavy boxes
• Problem solving and organized
• Ability to work autonomously
• Functions as part of a team
• Pays attention to detail
• Speed, accuracy and resourcefulness
• Ability to work overtime as required
• Excellent reading skills

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day
• Must be able to bend and twist at the waist
• Must be able to bend at the knees
• Must be able to enter into and out of forklift
