About the role
This is a key role in which you will help support our IT Logistics Systems landscape. You will work to ensure the associated solutions are reliable, cost effective and user-friendly. You'll be working in a team of two, reporting into the Head of IT Infrastructure and Operations based at our Milton, Brisbane Office.
Accountabilities are found in the PD which is available upon request and include:

To ensure the IT Logistics Systems for Holcim Australia and New Zealand within the specified areas of responsibility are managed and supported in the most cost-effective manner whilst ensuring business and statutory deadlines are adhered to

Ensure customer service is maintained at specified levels through the recording and measurement of all customer service tasks and ensure plans are in place to maintain appropriate service levels whilst ensuring costs are kept under control

Engage with the business and wider IT community to assist in support and delivery of approved local, regional and global IT requirements and projects to the Holcim Australia and New Zealand businesses

Proactively participate with the business formally and informally to ensure the best possible utilisation of IT solutions, and adherence to agreed KPIs and SLAs.
About you
-
We really value hands-on IT experience with a flexible and open mind, so a graduate degree in computer science is more of a nice to have
-
Credible experience in a similar role using related Logistics systems (eg Ordering Scheduling / Dispatching systems, IVMS systems, Batching systems & TIMS)

Experience with basic SQL
-
Strong analytical skills and experience at use of tools in problem evaluation and solution review
-
Excellent written and verbal comms skills, with the ability to communicate openly and effectively with stakeholders, business units, IT and external partners
-
Ability to prioritise work to meet competing deadlines
-
Flexibility to support and work across various IT disciplines and knowledge areas as required.
