Flex Academy has openings forFoundations (K-5) and Innovations (6-12) Teachersfor the 2026-2027 school year! Flex Academy Teachers educate students within a flexible educational model and support their academic, spiritual, and social-emotional growth with a focus on individualized education.
Open Teaching Positions
- Grade 2 (0.86 FTE)
- Grade K-9 Music (0.37 FTE)
- Grade 10-12 Math & Science (0.5-0.7 FTE)
- Grade 5-9 Spanish (0.43 FTE)
As a Flex Academy Teacher, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Deliver quality instruction for both academic and spiritual growth of student
- Plan, teach, assess and report, while maintaining good classroom management
- Collaborate with other departments as necessary
- Plan field trips and participate in school and staff meetings, and parents meetings
- Maintaining daily communication with students, families and staff
- Actively participate as member of staff team
We are looking for someone who has the following qualities:
- BC Certified Teacher
- Ability to manage, change, and adapt to varied workloads in a start-up environment
