About the role
We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join the team in Vancouver, B.C.. . He/She/They will be responsible for processing internal and external documentation while maintaining the use of the organisation's multiple document management systems and processes, and ensuring Sedgman’s document control processes are followed.
What does this role involve ? Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all project documents; maintaining project-related document control register.
- Plan, supervise, and record document flow to/from clients, subcontractors, and project offices.
- Coordinate vendor documentation, drawing control, transmittals, and general administrative tasks.
- Ensure drawings are registered with correct revision & details and issued within the requested time frame.
- Issue project documentation to internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide document control support to engineering teams in Canada, Australia, and internationally.
What are we looking for in our future team member ? Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in document control within an engineering project office.

Previous experience in document control requirements.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain workflows and automation around the document control process.

Strong skills in vendor data and revision control.

Proficiency in MS Office

Experience with Aconex is essential

Experience in InEightDocument / TeamBinder is beneficial

Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with constant deadline pressure.

Comfortable working alone as well as part of a team

Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship
SALARY Range : $55K - $75K
