In this role, you’ll take on challenging welding repairs and fabrication work on some of the biggest and most advanced heavy equipment in the industry. Location: Acheson, AB
Shift: 7x7, days and nights rotation
Wage: $56.37, inclusive of base and premiums, additional premiums may be available.

Your Role
- Repair and fabricate components for various types of mining and heavy equipment.
- Read and interpret layouts, blueprints, and work orders.
- Customize mobile equipment or parts based on customer requests.
- Support welding work in the shop and, on occasion, in the field.
- Conduct failure analysis and determine proper repair processes.
- Work safely with minimal supervision in a challenging environment.
What You Bring
- Journeyperson Welder certification
- Minimum of 1 year proven experience welding heavy equipment.
- Strong blueprint reading and layout interpretation skills
- Safety-focused mindset with strong organizational skills
- Self-motivated and adaptable to fast-paced environments
- Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams
- Valid Class 5/G Driver’s License
Pre-Employment Requirements
Candidates may be required to complete:
- Employment Verification
- Pre employment medical questionnaire
- Drug and Alcohol test
- 5 Year Commercial Drivers Abstract
